Choosing an interactive cat toy for your cat's hunting style
Every cat hunts a little differently. Some sprint after anything that moves; others sit very still by a hole for ten minutes before they strike. Matching a toy to that style is the fastest way to a toy that actually gets played with.
Watch your cat for a few days and notice which of these sounds most like them. Then start there.
The sprinter
Chases anything across the floor. Start with MigiMouse, Migicar or a chase ball — fast, unpredictable movers that roll out of corners.
The ambusher
Watches, waits, then pounces. Start with a MigiBox or the hide-and-seek mouse hole, where prey appears and disappears.
The jumper
Leaps for birds on the windowsill. Start with the Migi-Teaser on a window, or the robin hanging from its elastic string.
The kicker
Grabs with front paws and bunny-kicks with the back. Start with a chirping lizard or the plush feather pair.
The night owl
Most active after dark. Start with the Paw Palace in LED mode, a glowing Fun Tracker or the shadow tunnel.
Most cats are two of these at once. Pick one toy for each and you will cover the whole pounce hour.
