MigiBox setup and care: feathers, PopSkin and charging
MigiBox is simple to use, but a few small habits keep it running smoothly for a long time. These are the tips we give every new MigiBox household.
They apply to the 7-hole MigiBox, MigiBox Plus and the 3-in-1 sets.
Charge fully before the first game
Give it a full USB-C charge out of the box. A full battery keeps the feather moving at its liveliest speed.
Place it in open floor space
Leave room on every side so your cat can circle it. Near a wall is fine, in a corner is not — half the holes disappear.
Let a shy cat watch first
Some cats watch for a day or two before they touch it. That is normal; the sensor will keep inviting them.
Switch to PopSkin the right way
Fit the special PopSkin rod head from the manual before you pull the cover on. The regular feather will not move properly under fabric.
Replace feathers early
A feather that is half gone moves differently. Swap in a rainbow refill as soon as it looks tired — the pack includes two crinkly Mylar strips too.
Wipe, do not soak
Wipe the box with a damp cloth. The plush PopSkin can be hand-washed; let it dry fully before it goes back on.
Charge it, give it space, keep a spare feather in the drawer. MigiBox does the rest.
